The HDMI matrix is a box which distributes Audio Visual sources to multiple simultaneous locations in any combination, while allowing full control of the source box and keeping all the AV sources tucked out of the way in a cupboard somewhere.
HDMI matrix's come in various shapes and sizes but generally they have Four sources and can distribute the signals to Four or Eight rooms up to 100 metres away.
An entry level model will distribute HD 1080i and a higher specification model will support the latest Ultra High Definition (UHD) Images or 4K resolution.
A matrix can be integrated into a multi room audio system and also controlled via an app on a handheld device allowing you to easily flip between sources.
