A new customer of ours based in Watford area, had an existing Multiroom audio system that had never worked properly, and a host of issues such as poor WIFi coverage and the CCTV cameras could not be accessed remotely.
We upgraded the multiroom Audio system to a Russound C series 8 zone and added two additional zones outside for the Pool and patio terrace areas.
The Russound gives us a flexible and powerful audio system that gives seamless control of your entertainment needs. Russound C-Series products offer advanced features that make reaching your goal of enhancing your entertainment experience even easier.
We integrated the Russound multiroom audio so that the HDMI matrix sources and the speakers in each room would work together seamlessley - when the visual source is changed the audio always aligned and would play the same.
The Russound and house entertainment is controlled via either wall plates that we fitted into custom made plates - or it has a App which is configured on tablets & handheld devices
The app is simply customisable and downloadable from the Apple or Google stores. What this means is that there is no one off bespoke high-end programming being done by me or a specialist company – it’s a standard controller app and when they update it everyone gets a new improved version, it's around £7 but well worth it. A few years ago something like this would be hugely expensive.
The App allows SONOS to be launched and played in any room plus the Sky boxes can be controlled. For more info on Russound and the products see the Russound section of the website.
HDMI MATRIX
We provided a new 4x8 HDMI matrix which is integrated into the Multiroom audion system so they can works together.
The house had been previously cabled using substandard wiring but we managed to resurrect this and supply HD distribution to all rooms in the property.
Finally we provided an upgraded UNIFI managed WIFi network capable of 300Mb/s across the house, this has hugely speeded up the Internet browsing experience in the house, and provided the means for the multimedia to be reliably controlled.
