We have this month wired a Family cinema room in Wokingham Berkshire
The room is to be used as a play / games room but also a family room for wathching TV and Films
We located all of the AV equipment out of the way in the garage but have made connections so it can be remotely accessed and controlled via an app. We have shared the house SKY box between the Cinema room projector and the front room TV.
Speakers - The family chose to have ceiling speakers installed, so allowing as much space as possible and this also prevents any unwanted tampering by little fingers. A freestanding sub woofer provides the bass.
The surround sound amplifier has an extra speaker zone, so we have also wired additional speakers to the Gym & Garage areas.
We have left connections in the room so games comsoles can easily be used.
Intital comments are that "We feel like we are actually there at the football game rather than just watching it on a screen"
